This Privacy Policy applies to the TipTok mobile application (the “Application”) provided by TipTok (the “Service Provider”). TipTok is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not operate a backend server that stores your budgets, transactions, or Google Sheets content.
Information you enter and store in the Application
TipTok lets you create and manage personal finance data such as transactions (income/expenses), budgets, savings goals, debts, subscription/recurring items, upcoming income, categories, and tip-calculator history. This information is stored locally on your device (for example, in the Application’s local storage).
Google Account, Google Drive, and Google Sheets (optional sync)
TipTok can optionally sync your data to a Google Spreadsheet in your Google Account. When you connect a Google Account, the Application uses Google Sign-In to obtain an OAuth access token and basic profile information (such as your name, email address, and profile photo) to show your connection status in the app.
When syncing is enabled, TipTok reads and writes the Google Spreadsheet you choose (or create) to keep your data in sync. TipTok stores the spreadsheet ID you configure on your device so it knows where to sync. Your spreadsheet content stays in your Google Account. TipTok does not upload your spreadsheet content to Service Provider servers.
Google API scopes we request
To provide the Google Sheets sync feature, TipTok requests the following Google API scopes:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets— read and write spreadsheet content for syncing (for example: transactions, budgets, savings goals, subscription items, upcoming items, categories, and debts) in the spreadsheet you configure in TipTok.
TipTok requests only the minimum scopes needed for the sync features you enable. TipTok does not request broad
Google Drive scopes such as https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive or
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly.
Note: The Sheets scope allows access to Google Sheets in your account. TipTok is designed to use this access only for the specific spreadsheet you choose or create for TipTok.
Google API data use (Limited Use)
TipTok’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide the in-app sync features you request and do not use Google user data for advertising or marketing.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
TipTok uses Google AdMob to display advertisements in the ad-supported version of the Application. AdMob may collect and use information (such as Advertising ID, IP address, device information, and app interaction data) to provide and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted.
Notifications
If you enable reminders (for example, for subscription/recurring items), TipTok may schedule local notifications on your device. TipTok does not send push notifications from a Service Provider server.
Export, import, and sharing
TipTok includes features to export data (for example, CSV exports or a full JSON backup) and import data from files you select. Exported files are saved to your device storage and can be shared using your device’s share features. If you share an exported file, the recipient and any third-party apps you use to share it will receive that file.
Does the Application collect precise real-time location information?
TipTok does not collect precise real-time location information from your device.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
TipTok uses third-party services to provide features:
- Google (Google Sign-In, Google Drive API, Google Sheets API) — for optional sync to your Google spreadsheet.
- Google AdMob — for advertisements.
These third parties process data under their own privacy policies. TipTok does not sell your personal information.
Data retention (including Google user data)
- On your device: Data you enter (transactions, budgets, settings, tip history, etc.) is kept locally until you delete it, clear the Application’s data, or uninstall the Application.
- In your Google Account: If you enable Google Sheets sync, your synced data is retained in your Google Drive/Sheets until you delete the spreadsheet or its contents.
- On Service Provider servers: TipTok does not store your Google Sheets content or your finance records on Service Provider servers.
How to delete your data (including Google user data)
You can delete your data at any time using one or more of the options below:
- Disconnect Google: Use the in-app “Disconnect” option to revoke TipTok’s access to your Google Account. You can also remove TipTok’s access from your Google Account security settings. Disconnecting stops TipTok from accessing Google APIs, but does not automatically delete the spreadsheet or its contents from your Google Drive.
- Delete Google Sheets data: Delete the TipTok spreadsheet (or specific rows/sheets) from Google Drive/Sheets.
- Delete local data: Delete items from within the app (where available), clear the Application’s data in your device settings, or uninstall the Application.
- Delete exported files: If you exported CSV/JSON backups, delete those files from your device storage and any places you shared them.
What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application. You can also choose not to connect a Google Account and use TipTok only with local device storage.
Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards within the Application. When you use Google Sheets sync, your data is stored in your Google Account and is protected by Google’s security infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of changes by updating this page. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes.
Effective date
This Privacy Policy is effective as of 2026-03-05.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
