These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TipTok mobile application ("Application", "App", "Service") provided by TipTok ("we", "us", "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.
1. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Application. If you are using the Application on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
TipTok is a budget and expense tracking app. Features may include tracking income/expenses, budgets, savings goals, debts, recurring items and reminders, analytics, data export/import, and optional Google Sheets sync.
3. Your data and ownership
You retain ownership of the information you enter into TipTok. TipTok is designed to store your data locally on your device. If you enable Google Sheets sync, your synced data is stored in your Google account (Drive/Sheets) under your control.
4. Google integration (optional)
If you choose to connect a Google account, TipTok uses Google Sign-In and Google APIs to sync with a spreadsheet you choose or create for TipTok. TipTok is designed to request only the minimum scopes needed for this feature.
You may disconnect your Google account at any time in the Application or by removing TipTok’s access in your Google account settings. Disconnecting stops TipTok from accessing Google APIs but does not automatically delete your spreadsheet or its contents.
5. Third-party services
The Application may integrate with third-party services, including:
- Google Sign-In / Google Drive API / Google Sheets API (optional sync)
- Google AdMob (advertising in the free/ad-supported experience)
Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
6. Advertisements and ad-free access
The free version of TipTok may display ads (for example via Google AdMob). TipTok may also offer limited ad-free access (for example, an ad-free pass) that can be unlocked by viewing a rewarded advertisement where available.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Application for unlawful purposes
- Interfere with or disrupt the Application, networks, or security features
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application except where permitted by law
8. No financial advice
TipTok is a tool to help you track and organize your finances. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for your financial decisions.
9. Disclaimers
The Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Application will be error-free or uninterrupted.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TipTok and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Application.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Application at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to the Application if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Your continued use of the Application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
